I’m Anne and I know a little something about teaching kids with learning challenges.
Hi, I’m Anne! I a kindergarten reading specialist and mom to three kids.
Dyslexia, dysgraphia, ADHD, autism, auditory processing disorder – I taught children with these learning challenges when I was in the classroom.
And now I’m helping my own neurodivergent children learn at home.
With two Master’s degrees in education, 12 years of classroom experience, and hundreds of hours of additional training, my favorite thing to say to parents is “I’ve seen this before, and I know what to do.”

Can’t I just work with my kid without support?
Of course! But how has that worked for you in the past?
This service is for parents who get stuck and need help getting clear on a priority and pushing through when a child resists or struggles.
Can’t you just help me in your DMs?
I try to answer emails and DM questions but they are very surface level assistance. If you want your child to make real progress, you need more tailored advice and on-going support.
How much time is this going to take?
To get started, you’ can send me pictures of your child’s work or report cards. Then we’ll have a 20 minute Zoom call. You’ll review a plan I’ll send you after that call. Then you need to implement it with your child for 10-15 minutes a day (approximately).
You can take a few minutes to send me voice memos or texts via the Voxer app and I’ll respond on weekdays. We’ll have an ending 20 minute Zoom call to address any lingering questions and talk about next steps.
How many parents will you coach?
I’m only offering three spots because I need to be realistic about my time.
My in-person tutoring spots are full with a waitlist and based on interest, this will likely sell out, too.
Will this really work for my kid?

My child is non-speaking. Can you help us with reading?
My autistic children have verbal communication. I’ve looked at the research for helping non-speaking children, but this isn’t my area of expertise. My best advice is to work with a speech pathologist on AAC device usage first.
